Welcome to Get Coding
By That Developer Guy
(Learn, Build, and Unlock Your Inner Dev)
Hey there! If you’re into coding—whether it’s C# .NET, SQL, PHP, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, or anything else web and software development-related—you’re in the right place. This site is all about learning, sharing, and solving real-world coding challenges together.
Here’s the Secret Sauce
To learn coding, you gotta DO coding! There’s no shortcut. You improve by experimenting, building projects, breaking things (then fixing them), and troubleshooting when things go wrong. Having the right tools makes the process smoother, and I’m here to help with that.
Even if you’re not a full-time developer, technology can still enhance your daily life. There’s a vast world of open-source software that can make things easier, more efficient, and even more fun. I’m a big advocate for open-source solutions and will always recommend the best free tools, whether you’re building a website, writing scripts, or simply looking for software to streamline your workflow.
Why This Exists
I’ve walked the developer path, struggled with errors, learned from mistakes, and gathered a ton of coding notes along the way. As a qualified software engineer, I realized my notes could be useful to more than just me. That’s when I had the idea to create a space where I could share knowledge and build a community of learners and problem-solvers.

Who’s Behind This
I’m That Developer Guy, just someone who loves coding and sharing what I learn along the way. I’ve faced the same debugging nightmares, design struggles, and learning curves that most developers go through, and my goal is to make things easier for others. The nickname came from a happy customer, and I figured why not own it?
Where to Start
Right now, the focus is on C# and SQL, but I’ll be adding content for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and more soon. If there’s something specific you’d like me to cover, or if you have any questions, reach out! I’d love to hear from you and help in any way I can.
Hope you find something useful here. If not, let me know what you’re looking for and I’d love to create content that helps you out!
